Llano County Museum Located centrally in the City of Llano, just North of the bridge. The Llano County Museum is a wonderfully complete and interesting collection of local pioneer memorabilia, including clothing and textiles, home and farm items; 19th Century medical exhibit and much much more. Also on display is a unique polo exhibit


Hill Country Wildlife Museum   Located on the Town Square of
the City of Llano, the museum contains The museum contains the world-renown Campbell Collection of wildlife animals. You would be hard pressed to find this many species of animals on
display under one roof any place in the United States. The museum is not only the home for animals, but also a learning center for wildlife and natural history.


South Texas Institute for the Arts,Corpus Christi, Texas, are one of the only art museums that is completely free to view.  Until September 19 we will still have our
Surfin' Art exhibit.

Old City Park:  The Historical Village of Dallas

is a 13 acre outdoor museum village located just south of downtown Dallas.  There are over 30 restored houses and buildings open for touring, a resident printer and potter, and a hands-on 1860s farmstead with farm animals.  Brent Place Restaurant open Tuesday through Saturday for lunch.  McCalls Mercantile gift shop available for Dallas and Texas gifts.  Museum is open Tuesdaythrough Saturday, 10:00-4:00 p.m. and Sunday from Noon to 4:00 p.m. Admission is $6 adults, $4  seniors, $3 children.  214-421-5141 forinformation.  Web page at oldcitypark.org.


Brush Country Museum - Cotula, Texas

The Brush Country Museum is sponsored by the La Salle County Historical Commission.
The original Museum is a one-room schoolhouse donated to the Historica Commission by the Cotulla Independent School District. The Museum has grown over the years from the original one-room school building. In April, 1997, Gladys  "Beanie" McMahon Porter donated her house and lots to the Historical Commission for the purposes of a Museum. The original Museum was moved from Front Street to it's new location at 201 S. Stewart Street. The Museum has been completely renovated and contains many pictures, displays and artifacts of La Salle County and the Brush Country.

American Airpower Heritage Museum, Midland, TX.

This accredited museum curates one of the largest private collections of World War II militaria. Exhibits focus on air power and its impact, and are on-going. Opened in 1991, on the 50th anniversary of the bombing Pearl Harbor, numerous education programs and hands-on activities are available to the public

We are a hands-one museum for children focusing on the visual arts. Most of our patrons are ages 5 -12 years old. We change exhibits 3 times a year, and each summer exhibit focuses on a different culture.
